Announcing ‘Days of ICON’ — Original Artwork Detailing the Price History of ICX
The development and launch of the “ICON Treasury” initial collection was geared toward memorializing the history of the ICON ecosystem in the form of collectible NFTs.
Due to the wave of enthusiasm and community strength that ICON Treasury has developed, we have designed a limited set of original art pieces geared toward further memorializing ICON moments. Access to the sale of these NFTs will be available only to ICON Treasury NFT holders.
“Days of ICON” is a collection of twenty pieces of artwork that have been designed using the ICX price chart from a given day as the aesthetic foundation.
Each day represented is tied to the day one of the original 20 ICON “moments” included in the ICON Treasury collection.
For example, here is the art corresponding with the day of ICON’s Mainnet launch on January 24, 2018:
Here is the price chart from that same day, sourced from CoinMarketCap:
There will only be one copy of each day minted. The sale will be conducted in the following manner:
- ‘Days of ICON’ will be sold in the form of an auction. An initial date will be provided in the future as to when the “bidding” will begin. Bidding will take the form of utilizing Craft’s “Make an Offer” feature. The “bidding” will last a week, with the sale being made to the highest qualifying bidder upon close of the auction.
- In order to qualify as a valid bidder, a user must own a qualifying level of ICON Treasury moments. For example, in order to place a qualifying bid on the ICON Mainnet “Days of ICON” moment, a user must have in their wallet (at the time the auction closes) either 1 Mainnet Platinum, 2 Mainnet Golds, 5 Mainnet Silvers, or 10 Mainnet Bronzes.
- Any bids made from wallets without these assets will be ignored. If the highest bid comes from a wallet without these assets, the second highest bid will become the winner (presuming they qualify).
Artwork from the entire collection will be released in the near future along with an auction start date.
